we are very happy and proud to announce that we won another product award - the ISPO GOLD AWARD. Every year the jury of the sports business network ISPO evaluate hundreds of products. Attainabilities which are very unique or innovative win an award, the finest ones are honoured with the title 'GOLD WINNER'. This year our FR SKID convinced the jury completely. Let's have a closer look at our award winner!
FR SKID: SMALL PROTECTOR BACKPACK IN GREAT SHAPE
FR SKID Our first product for powder enthusiasts was a protector backpack, and initially this generated quite a few smirks. Today, protector backpacks have become indispensable in the backcountry. And EVOC is the pioneer in the market. The award-winning FR SKID is a newcomer to the collection, and EVOC’s smallest backpack with integrated back protector. This compact daypack in XS size is designed for shorter backs. Besides the popular EVOC features, our “shorty” impresses with 10 litres of capacity as well as attachment options for skis (diagonal position), snowboard and snowshoes. It accommodates hydration systems of up to 2 litres and has a special easy-to-access compartment for avalanche equipment on the front of the pack. Due to the short back length the shovel is fixed to the outside. Extra convenience comes with the integrated key clip.

The German based company Evoc really broke into the US market with their hugely popular Bike Travel Bag. It was an awesome option when you needed to travel with your bike. Evoc’s design allowed you to leave most the bike intact, and the travel bag offered solutions to many of the common problems with traveling with your bike.
Evoc has just released an updated version to their Bike Travel Bag and the changes are looking really awesome! The number one struggle for traveling with your bike is weight. Airlines are sticklers about over weight bags and this can really cost you a lot. The new Bike Travel Bag weights less and is more stable! There is now aluminum slide rails running the full length of the bottom of the bag which gives the bag a lot more stability when it is fully loaded. Pairing that with the Monocoque Wheel Chassis and aluminum front handle, moving your bike becomes much easier. Additionally you can clip on a front wheel to the aluminum handle, allowing for full rolling capabilities.
You couldn’t talk about the new Bike Travel Bag without pointing out some of the new protection features. The built in wheel slots now offer even more protection for your rotors, freeing up valuable breakdown and build up times. Another awesome change is the molded bottom case which use to be made from foam and was likely to have damage over time. For anyone that is planning to be traveling with their bike this year, I would highly recommend you take a look at this awesome travel bag!

The STAGE 12l is part of our PERFORMANCE BACKPACK line. With its technical features and the unique design it persuades the international jury of the DI.A 2015 at the category Equipment & Technology. One highlight of the STAGE 12l is the BRACE LINK carrying system with flexible straps that automatically adapt to individual shoulder widths. Combined with the low net weight, neutral weight/load distribution and sophisticated ventilation system, the system provides superior carrying comfort and outstanding freedom of movement when riding a bike. In addition, it enables wearing a neck brace.

These multifunctional, technical backpacks of our TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE BACKPACK line meet the highest demands when it comes to functionality, carrying comfort and low weight. One of the reasons for this is the sophisticated AIR FLOW CONTACT back system. It distributes the weight neutrally to the body’s centre of gravity while minimising the contact surface on the back and shoulders. We have also positioned the ventilation elements, such as channels and specially moulded, perforated EVA pads, behind a mesh fabric, in the form of “islands”, and as such, to the inside. As is customary for EVOC, the STAGE 12l incorporate a wide range of sophisticated technical features. Both have a tool compartment with separate quick access. An embossed emergency plan provides emergency steps and the most important phone numbers. A separate compartment offers space for a hydration system of up to three litres in capacity. There is also space for your sunglasses/goggles and other small necessities. But that’s enough about pockets and compartments. The packs also offer individual attachment solutions for full-face and cross-country helmets as well as for protectors. Unobtrusive markings provide instructions. Convenient: The rain cover forms part of the features and can be pulled over the backpack in one simple step.
